Cashmere elections results show winners in contested races; many ran unopposed

CASHMERE - As of the latest ballot tabulation on Monday, Nov. 13, victors have emerged in the two contested Cashmere races from the Nov. 7 general election. 

Sara Pipkin won the Director District #2 position on the Cashmere School Board with a solid lead of 65.5% of votes, with 1,191 ballots cast in her favor. Her opponent Ted Russell Snodgrass, trailed with 622 votes or 34.21%.

Jeff Johnson won the City of Cashmere Council Member #5 position with 397 votes for 57.96% of votes cast. His opponent Derrick Pratt, received 279 votes for 40.73% of votes.

 

For Cashmere School District No. 22 School Board Director District #1, Aaron D. Bessonette is running unopposed and has received 1,359 votes, giving him 98.76% of ballots cast.

 

Nick Wood is running unopposed for Cashmere School Board Director District #3. He received 1,259 votes, giving him 97.07% of the votes. 

 

In his uncontested race, incumbent Cashmere Mayor, Jim Fletcher received 518 votes, giving him 91.84% of the votes. 

 

City of Cashmere Council Member #4 Jayne Stephenson holds 97.08% of votes with 499 ballots cast in her favor. 

Only an estimated 111 ballots are left to be counted for Chelan County, and those results will be released on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. The races will be certified on that same day.
