Cashmere Track at Districts

The Thursday, May 18 District Championship track meet hosted by Cashmere High School had great results. The five Caribou Trail League schools of Cashmere, Cascade, Chelan, Omak and Quincy participated. Athletes and relay teams needed to win the event to be ensured of a trip to the state track meet on Memorial Day weekend.  We had a few athletes qualify because they ran a time that was good enough to allow them to participate in the state meet as well. 

Forty-one personal records were set by Bulldog athletes at the District meet. Twenty-two athletes qualified for the state meet. The State Track meet will be held at Zaepfel Stadium in Yakima on May 25-27^th. Both boys and girls followed up their Caribou Trail League team championships won at Quincy on May 10 with WIAA District 1A team championships.
