WENATCHEE VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE LAUNCHES SEARCH FOR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Wenatchee Valley Chamber has officially launched the search for a new Executive Director. The Chamber Board has selected the Next Move Group to assist in the search and screening process.
Current Board President Tod McLaughlin said, “Next Move Group has worked with thousands of small businesses and non-profits like the Chamber. We are confident that the firm will find an individual who is the right fit for the team and our community. The next Executive Director will be a strong leader for the organization and its members.”
The qualifications called for include the ability to be a proven leader who cultivates strong relationships, collaborates to solve complex problems, and empowers their team to further the mission and vision of the organization. The Executive Director will understand the local economy, the importance of business development, and advocate for a local, state, and federal business climate that allows local industries to thrive. This person must anticipate emerging and long-term planning needs of the Chamber and be responsible for the annual budged development.

The position is currently held by Shiloh Burgess, who has accepted a position as the Manager of Government Affairs for the Douglas County PUD. She will remain at the helm until November 9th.

Right now, the Chamber has a dedicated staff who is focused on continuing the mission and vision of the organization as we search for the new Executive Director. The future is bright for the Wenatchee Valley Chamber and ensuring a healthy recovery means more jobs, more businesses and everyone enjoying the benefits of real economic prosperity.”
