Posted

CASHMERE — Cashmere Community Concerts will present acclaimed Northwest musicians Jim Faddis and Dale Adkins in an intimate evening of acoustic music on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. at the Cashmere Community Church, 213 S. Division St.

Known for their seamless vocal harmonies and dynamic musicianship, Faddis and Adkins promise an evening of heartfelt storytelling and timeless sound. Their performance will include Faddis’ original songs and country classics, delivered with warmth and mastery that reflect decades of experience on bluegrass and Americana stages across the Northwest.

Faddis, whose soulful voice and songwriting have long resonated with audiences, is best known for his years with the Washington-based bluegrass band Prairie Flyer and his more recent work with FarmStrong. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Gillian Welch and Neil Young, Faddis brings both authenticity and depth to his performances.

Adkins, a multi-instrumentalist celebrated for his technical precision and stage presence, has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe with top Northwest bluegrass bands including Out of the Blue, Frontline, True North, and Old Growth Acoustic Quartet.

“This duo knows how to build a song from the bottom up and then deliver it with heart, feeling, and soul,” said Marie Vecchio, executive director of Cashmere Community Concerts and the Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival.

Cashmere Community Concerts, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to providing live, affordable, high-quality entertainment for the Wenatchee Valley. Admission to the concert is $5 at the door, with musicians compensated through a one-time “Hat Pass” donation, suggested at $8 to $15 per person.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be provided. The event is alcohol-free and features concert-style seating.
