LINCOLN, Neb. - University of Nebraska-Lincoln officials announced that Kimmy Dodson of Cashmere has earned placement on the Deans' List for the fall semester of the 2024-25 academic year.
Dodson, a junior studying forensic science in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, achieved the academic distinction by meeting the college's minimum grade-point average requirement of 3.75 on a four-point scale.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln maintains distinct GPA requirements for Deans' List recognition across its eight undergraduate colleges and Explore Center. Students may qualify for multiple college lists simultaneously if they meet the respective criteria.
Dean Tiffany Heng-Moss leads the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, which requires one of the highest GPA thresholds at 3.75 for Deans' List qualification.
Other college requirements range from 3.5 to 3.75 GPA: The College of Engineering maintains a 3.5 requirement under Dean Lance C. Perez; the College of Business requires a 3.6 GPA under Dean Kathy Farrell; while the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Journalism and Mass Communications both require a 3.7 GPA, led by Acting Dean Patrick Dussault and Dean Shari Veil respectively.
