LEAVENWORTH – Stevens Pass announced that it will open on Nov. 29 for the 2024-2025 winter season, a week earlier than anticipated.
The mountain initially planned to open on Dec. 6, but early snowfall made it possible to open in November for the first time since 2018-2019, when the slopes opened on Nov. 21. The mountain has received over 65 inches of snow.
“We’re so excited to kick off the 2024/25 ski and ride season a full week earlier than planned,” said Ellen Galbraith, Vice President and General Manager of Stevens Pass, in a press release. “With the recent snowfall we received and a promising forecast for this winter, we are looking forward to another fantastic season. The team here has been working incredibly hard, and we are all ready to welcome our community back for another amazing season at Stevens Pass.”
Lifts will open at 9 a.m., with Daisy, Hogsback, Skyline, and Brooks lifts spinning. Stevens Pass will celebrate the early opening with music in the base area by DJ Mystic, free hot chocolate in the morning, and giveaways.
This winter, Stevens Pass is introducing a combination of free and paid parking options on weekends and peak-periods, with a focus on reservations and carpooling incentives. The reservations-based parking system will begin the first week of December for select lots.
All Epic Passes, including Epic Day Passes, will be available until Dec. 2. Lift tickets will be limited every day during the season in order to preserve the guest experience at each resort.
