‘Coco’ Movie and Skull Craft

The Cashmere Public Library will host a movie and craft time on Thursday, Nov. 2 from 3:30-5 p.m.

Celebrate Dia De Los Muertos with a showing of the movie “Coco” and making a fun skull craf.

Pumpkin Smash

Winton MFG will host their 1st Annual Pumpkin Composting Event at the Osborn School Field in Leavenworth on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There is a suggested donation of $1 to $5 dollars for each pumpkin smashing.

The fun-filled afternoon will include food, drinks and a “smashing good time”.

Groovy movie and beading crafts

The Cashmere Public Library will host a Teen Groovy Movie and beading craft time on Tuesday, Nov 7 from  4- 5:30 p.m.

Make your own beaded bracelet or keychain while watching “The Emperor's New Groove” at the Cashmere Library.

Author Shirley Miller Kamada with "No Quiet Water"

The Cashmere Public Library will host author Shirley Miller Kamada on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 5-6 p.m.

Shirley M. Kamada is the author of "No Quiet Water,”  a story about war in general and its impact on the lives of children, about prejudice and the way friendship can reach across cultures, and about endurance, hardship, and hope. "No Quiet Water," also gives a glimpse of agriculture and the importance of family farms to our economy.

Light refreshments will be served. The presentation is for teens and adults.

Stevens Pass: Season Updates

The Wenatchee River Institute will host the Red Barn event Stevens Pass: Season Updates on Thursday, Nov. 9 from 7-8 p.m.

Ellen Galbraith, a University of Washington alumna that has now been in her role as GM and VP at Stevens Pass for a little over a year, will share her insight on last winter and this summer, and to give a preview of what to expect this upcoming winter. She will also provide an overview of construction on Kehr’s Chair, which is being upgraded to a fixed-grip quad.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a community social with beer and wine available for purchase. This is a free event with a donation basket at the door.

The presentation will start at 7:00pm. You may join in person in the Red Barn or livestream virtually.
