Cashmere

In honor of Earth Day, come and join concerned citizens at the Aplets Bridge to clean up the trash under the bridge. Meet at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 22. Please bring plastic grocery bags, gloves, and any tools (like picker uppers)that would help gather trash. Let’s keep Cashmere clean. Questions call Vicky, 509-782-8004.

Leavenworth

The Greater Leavenworth Museum

Is excited to kick off their 2023 programs with a special event at Icicle Creek Center for the Arts Snowy Owl Theatre on Thursday, April 27. Rollie Schmitten will be presenting readings from his newest book - Greater Lake Wenatchee Area History - including stories and photos from the areas from Tumwater Canyon to Stevens Pass, including Lake Wenatchee. RSVP for this free event, and reserve a copy of his new book, at www.leavenworthmuseum.org. The event will run from 7-8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Books will be available for sale before and after the event, along with a book signing and Q&A with Rollie. David Severance has generously offered to donate $10 for each book sold to the Greater Leavenworth Museum.

The Cascadia Conservation District

Regular Board meeting will be an in person and call-in / Zoom meeting, held on Friday, April 21, 1:30 p.m. If you wish to attend in person, please call the office as space is limited. More information and instructions will be available on our web site at cascadiacd.org or by calling the District office, 509-436-1601.
