Public input sought on North Central Regional Workforce Plan

WENATCHEE — The SkillSource Regional Workforce Board is calling for public input on the new four-year Regional Workforce Plan for North Central Washington. Scheduled for the 2024-2028 period, the plan encompasses a comprehensive overview of workforce development initiatives within the region, emphasizing the envisioned strategies, objectives, and collaborative efforts among various stakeholders in the local workforce system.

Designed to serve as a resource for businesses, organized labor, and workforce development entities, the plan aims to enhance productivity and economic growth across the North Central region. It aligns with the strategic goals outlined in Washington State’s Workforce Plan, titled "Talent and Prosperity for All."

Interested parties can review the North Central Regional Plan for 2024-2028 and submit their comments via the SkillSource website at skillsource.org/2024-2028-north-central-regional-workforce-plan-open-for-public-comment/. The window for public commentary will remain open until April 1, 2024.
